Went in with MIL at her recommendation as she had previously dined here. The food and service was excellent. Loved the atmosphere and that it’s a building with history.
My girl and I went for the first time around dinner time and were surprisingly stoked to have Nick Jonas as our server !!! Hahahahaha Matt was wicked, super personable, you can tell he takes his job seriously. Carries himself very well as a professional, articulate and smooth. Checked in on us several times during our meal. Food was friggin unreal, I devoured my steak and my partner loved the fish special. Friendly warm vibes. Cheers, will be back !
I brought my sister there to celebrate her birthday. The server, Michael, was fantastic! Funny, friendly and knowledgable. The food was amazing, as usual, and the cooks were friendly and courteous. I stopped the cook, Chris, to think him and ask a question. He was cheerful and helpful. I will be back soon!
Very clean place with lots of history, spacious and has plenty of private rooms too. Lots of great beers on tap. Service was amazing knowledgeable and let us know her favourites to eat here. We ordered the Canada post pizza, the chicken carbonara pizza and the large salad with pears and cashews (Asian salad). The pizza was freshly made in their pizza ovens. Patio just closed but in the summer it is open and really nice too. Music playing while u eat too. Lots of things to see and good was great
Didn't actually stay there. Attentive staff for our meal though. Meal was delicious. Bathroom facilities were pristine.
My husband and I, went for our 14 year anniversary dinner at the Clock Tower dining room and had an amazing time with great food. We both had the surf and turf special for 55. each, with a charcuterie platter, soup, salad and it even included dessert and tip included.. We spent close to 3 hours reminiscing and eating.. The waiter was so helpful and friendly. When he opened the first bottle of wine we ordered, he even allowed us to try it first. We are happy he allowed us to do that, because we didn't like it because it was very tart and bitter and it didn't go with the steak we ordered. He allowed us to order another bottle of an African wine, which was really good and paired better with our meal. We spent about 350 but it was something we do t do often enough so it was worth every penny .. and we still left a good tip on top of it all because the service from the young man who served us, was extra special. We recommend The Clock Tower restaurant to everyone.
Delicious pizza, friendly staff and located in the beautiful Strathroy - I must also add that the sandwiches are yummy too and they provide amazing catering services! I highly recommend!
Two of us dined last night. The Hostess was a delight to chat with, our waitress was so very friendly and extremely efficient. The problem was so very, very many delicious items, it took us a long time to decide, we really wanted it all. We will be back .. soon to keep going through their menu. I try french onion soup whenever I see it on a menu, it was the best! The Tuscan dip was shared, I might have to get two next time so I have one all to myself, the flavours blend and it is such a creamy delight, the garlic toast were the perfect crispness and the home made seasoned nacho triangles need to be bagged and sold. The stroganoff was so delicious and a generous portion, my other diner has some to enjoy again today. The ambiance, staff and food made it a wonderful dining out experience, more like 10 stars out of 5 for me. Thank you!
